Olagene Sperow Bush Ott, 71, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

Born July 17, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Olin Gains Bush, Jr. and Imogene (Sperow) (Bush) Russek.

Olagene was a graduate of Charles Town High School, Class of 1969. She worked at Bush's Dairy Bar, Peoples Drug Store and was a cashier at IGA Market Manor before becoming a homemaker to raise her family. She later worked as a vet tech for Jefferson Animal Hospital until retirement. She loved animals, ceramics and flea markets.

She is survived by two daughters, Tiffani Ott of Harpers Ferry, WV and Traci Bremilst and husband, Casey of Winchester, VA; two sisters, Brenda Cotta and Sue Staubs and husband, Frank; one brother, Kevin Bush and wife, Belinda, half sister, Melissa Dishong and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Ott in 2021.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.  Interment will follow in St. Andrews on the Mount.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Monday.
