Obituary

Paul W. Boone, 87, of Jefferson, Md., a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2025, with his family by his side. He was the husband of Patrica (Martin) Boone, who passed away in 2010, they were married for 47 years.

He was born on June 30, 1937 at home in Frederick, Md.  The son of Sherman H. Boone and Alma Willetta (Paisley) of Frederick, Md.  He was preceded in death by brothers, Sherman Paisley, Clark Daniel and Patrick Ray Boone, and one sister Martha Estelle Boone.

He was a graduate of Frederick High School Class of 1955. Served in the United States Army Reserve from 1959 - 1965 with 2 years Active Duty, an Honorable Discharge with the rank of Staff Sergeant.  He was employed for over 40 years with the Federal Government the majority with the Department of HHS.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his sons and grandsons. He was a Life Member of the Catoctin Fish and Game Protective Association, FSK Post 11 American Legion.  He was the President and Coach of the Jefferson Little League & Babe Ruth programs for many years.  He was a dad and coach to many of the youth in the Briarcrest development and surrounding community, he never turned a kid away that needed or wanted help with sports, building forts, fixing bikes, driving and parking lessons.

He is survived by his twin son's Kevin and Keith and their families, Kevin P. Boone and wife, Jennie, of Harpers Ferry, WV., their children Kyle M. Boone (Sally Rodriguez) of Martinsburg, WV.  Connor I. Boone of Harpers Ferry, WV., and Cameron A. Boone of Hershey, Pa., Keith P. Boone and wife Becky of Gettysburg, Pa., his children; Jacob Boone (wife Brittany) their son Winston D., of Charles Town, WV., Alec N. Boone (Laney Shoup) of Myersville, Md., and Ethan Boone of Myersville, Md., and several nieces and nephews.

A private Interment with his immediate family will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, MD., where he will be laid to rest by his wife Patricia.
