Paul Robert Cavaliere', aka "Lefty," age 78, of Summit Point, WV, died Thursday, May 16, 2013
Born June 12th, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Anthony Cavalier and Sally "the bike rider" Cavalier. Paul was a Chef by profession.
He served honorably in the U.S. Navy from December 1st 1952 until May 24th, 1956. He was stationed on the U.S.S. Coral Sea CVA 43 and received the national defense service ribbon. He was also an alumni member of the U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard, stationed at Arlington National Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie Cavaliere' of Summit Point, sons Paul Cavalier, Joey Cavalier, Mark Cavalier, Jeff Cavalier, and Casey Cavalier; daughters Renee Cavalier-Fox, step-daughters Debbie Huntoon-Gregory and Jennifer Hillmann; grandchildren Nicholas, Patrick, Perris, Michael, Maxwell, Brenna, Sean, Justin, Jennifer, Edward, Mariah, Marissa, Hallie, and Indigo; sisters Mary Jane and Sally; brothers Jimmy and Bro. Gregory (Joey); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Buddy.
Services will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, May 23, at the Eackles-Spencer and Norton Funeral Home, Charles Town/Harper's Ferry, WV 25414, with Dr. Henry Christie officiating and music by The Kingstreet Bluegrass Band and Jessie La Rue and Penny Pullen.
