Paul Wayne Neal, 70, entered into his eternal rest on November 15, 2024.

He was born on September 11, 1954 in Augusta, GA to the late B.B. Neal and the late Magdaline Miller Neal.

Paul was a proud Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he spent 32 years with the United States Secret Service. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed golf, tennis, baseball and coaching youth sports. Paul was a passionate genealogist who traced his family ancestry to pre-Revolutionary War America, but his most prized accomplishment was that of a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Paul was preceded in death by his brothers Jerry Neal and Tommy Neal and sister Gwen Enlow.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Paula Abrams Neal, his beloved son Matthew Neal and his wife Ashleigh, and his cherished grandsons Rorik and Killian. He is also survived by his brother Donald Neal.

A Mass of Christian Burial is schedule for Friday, November 22, 2024 at 11:00 am at St James the Greater Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV with Father Timothy Grassi as the Celebrant assisted by Deacon Dave Galvin. A Rosary will be held at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in St. Peters Cemetery in Harpers Ferry, WV.
