Raymond "Ray" Claude Darr, 52, of Knoxville, MD passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV.

Born May 21, 1970 in Ranson, WV, he was the son of Claude Raymond Darr and the late Barbara Jean Holmes Darr.

Ray was a graduate of Brunswick High School, Class of 1989. He was a foreman at JC Smith Construction, LLC in Martinsburg, WV. He loved the outdoors and also enjoyed working on vehicles and lawn mowers.

In addition to his father, Claude "Bus" Darr, he is survived by the mother of his children, Leslie Darr of Hagerstown, MD; one daughter, Jessica Darr, at home; one son, Jacob Darr, at home, one sister, Barbara Pennington, two brothers, Chad Darr and Timmy Darr and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 at 2:30 pm at Brownsville Heights Cemetery  with Pastor Tim May officiating.
