Richard Bertam Stiles, 76, of Martinsburg, WV passed away August 8, 2023 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility in Kearneysville, WV.

Born June 20, 1947 in Olney, MD, he was the son of the late Frank Clifford Stiles and Inez Fraley Stiles.

Richard attended St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church in Leetown, WV.

He was a graduate of Glenelg High School in Glenelg, MD. Richard had a passion for farming and raising farm animals, having been a certified breeder. He loved to show animals and was active in FFA and 4-H in his younger years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia; two daughters, Melissa Adams and husband, Dale of Benton, AR and Kathy Ann Quirbach and husband, Michael of Hedgesville, WV; two sons, Robert Cline and wife, Lavonda Mercer Cline of Harpers Ferry and Richard Howard Stiles and wife, Deanna of Bryant, AR, one sister, Bonnie Cheney, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-mother, June Stiles, one sister, Johnetta Pruitt and one brother, Martin Stiles.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Warren Frederick officiating.
