Robert “Bubby” Gordon Woodward, 68, of Harpers Ferry, WV, passed away on June 26, 2026, at home.

Born on October 16, 1957, in Leesburg, VA, he was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Woodward, Sr. and Wilamena Edwards. He was of the Christian Faith.

Bobby loved West Virginia and enjoyed fishing and bowling. He was a very social and loved people, and was a wonderful father, grandfather and family man. He was a man of great integrity and upstanding character.

He is survived by two sons, Steven R. Woodward and fiancé, Christina Zombro, of Harpers Ferry, WV, Dustin T. Woodward and wife, Katherine, of Harpers ferry, WV; seven grandchildren, Nevaeh, Dustin, Jr., Kalie, Emma, Robbie, Layla, David; one brother, Woodrow W. Woodward, Jr. and wife, Edna Faye; first wife and mother of his children, Mary Elizabeth Thomas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lois Woodward; and his third wife, Joyce Fraley.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 11:00 A.M., at Pleasant View Memory Gardens, 2938 Charles Town Rd, Kearneysville, WV 25430, with Deacon Dave Galvin officiating.
