Robert James Dudash, Sr., 77, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022 at his residence.

He was born September 22, 1945 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late Ernest Dudash and Betty Horner Dudash.

He was a member of the Roman Catholic Parish of St. James the Greater in Charles Town, WV.

Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He retired from AT&T after 30 years of service. Robert loved to travel and was an avid outdoorsman.

He is survived my his loving wife of 55 years, Gail at home; four sons, Robert Dudash, Jr. and wife, Rebecca of Berkeley Springs, Allen Dudash and wife, Pamela of Martinsburg, Brian Dudash of Harpers Ferry and Chris Dudash and wife, Victoria of Charles Town; fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one sister, Delores and one brother, Ernest Dudash, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 at 10:00am at St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV with Father Timothy Grassi as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Peters Cemetery, Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 6-8 pm with a  Rosary and Vigil to be held at 7:30pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
