Robert Theadore Jackson, 79, of Harpers Ferry, WV, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Jefferson Medical Center, in Ranson, WV.
Born on October 13, 1946, in Charles Town, WV, he was the son of the late Charles Junior Jackson and Elva Frances Rickard. He was of the Methodist Faith.
Robert was a drill operator and heavy equipment mechanic in the stone and concrete industry for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, football and basketball, and Sunday dinners, especially with grandchildren there.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Doris, at home; two daughters, Pam Cogle, of Kearneysville, WV, Kathy Rinker and husband, Tony, of Harpers Ferry, WV; two sons, Bobby Jackson, of Charles Town, WV, Scott Jackson and wife, Deena, of Kearneysville, WV; five grandchildren, Brittany, Matthew and wife, Stephanie, Logan and fiancé, Tim, Tyler and Isabelle; one great-grandson, Waylon; one sister, Diana Cook; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy, Ronnie and Jimmy Jackson.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11:00 A.M., at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Pastor Bill Rowley officiating.
Interment will follow at Pleasant View Memory Gardens, 2938 Charles Town Road, Kearneysville, WV.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
