Obituary

Robin Lynn Johnson of Charles Town, WV, born August 18, 1957, passed away
unexpectedly on April 5th 2022. She was 64. Robin is survived by her daughter,
Nichole Saunders, her son Jonathan Saunders, her brothers, Mike Gochenour,
Rick Johnson and Joseph Johnson II, her sisters, Sherry Johnson and CJ Saunders, her amazing partner, Dave Boyle, her granddaughters, Emma Saunders and Katheryn Acker and her grandsons, Holton Acker and Wyatt Saunders.

Robin graduated from Colonel Zadok
Magruder High School in Maryland on June
9th 1976.Her most recent work was a cherished
school bus driver which she started training
for in Montgomery County, MD and
eventually moved on to Fauquier County,
VA where she continued driving until
moving to Martinsburg, WV.

There are many great stories from the ones that loved Robin. My sister Nichole and myself have
many, however one stands out among the others and is told best by Robin's Brother, our Uncle
Mike:" We all will miss Robin. As a brother, we were very close. Our senior year, we both worked at
McDonalds together. One special time we were working together, and I was in charge of making
the fries. She was running the cash register. Everyone who needed a large fry was to say it out
loud. I caught Robin grabbing a fry and didn't hear her call for one, so I yelled back at her to call
for your fries. So, she came back and got in my face and yelled "LARGE FRIES". With the look
on her face, I said thank you. I couldn't help it, I cracked up. You can imagine the look on her
face.
After we graduated, I moved to Minnesota, and I got married to my Wife Marilee. We stayed in
touch with Robin and her sister Sherry. About two years before I got married, I had become a
Christian. And I shared my testimony with Robin. Then a few years later I shared how we can
know if we will spend eternity in heaven or hell. I let her know in the Bible how we can know.
She accepted Jesus into her heart and shared it with me. This is the most important part anyone
can do before they die. I know without a doubt I will see Robin again and I will miss calling her
or facetiming her on the phone. I will not say goodbye to Robin I will only say I will see you
later."

A memorial service will be held at  11:00 am on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Stahley officiating.
