Ronald Lee "Nelse" Aronhalt of Charles Town, WV, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Jefferson Medical Center.

Born August 22, 1957, he was the son of the late, Owen and Elizabeth Aronhalt.

Nelse was a graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of 1976, and was employed at Valley Vault Co. for 25 years. He was a lifetime member of Friendship Fire Co. in Harpers Ferry, and a member of the Charles Town Moose Lodge 948 since 1978.

He is survived by two sisters, Sandy K. Chapman and husband, Darryl of Charles Town, WV, Krista S. Brown and husband, Gary of Elkton, MD; one brother, Terry L. Aronhalt and Karen Clem of Ranson, WV; special friend, Kim; special aunt, Cindy Fridley and husband, Keith; one nephew, Gary Brown Jr.; and a host of extended family.

Services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, November 3, 2023 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425 with Dickie "Whistle" D'Angelo officiating.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to service at the funeral home.

A benefit will be held in honor of Nelse, 8:00am-12:00pm November 26, 2023, at KCR Barrel Saloon, 304 N. Mildred St., Charles Town, WV 25414
