Rose Mary Ahalt, 65, of Charles Town, WV passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011 at her home.
Born February 17, 1946 in Ranson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Howard Newton Barron and Ruth Carper Barron.
She was a long time member of the Charles Town Presbyterian Church.
She graduated from Charles Town High School and the James Rumsey Vocational Technical nursing program.
Rose recently retired from Jefferson Memorial Hospital (WV University Hospitals-East) with 31 years of service as a LPN.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James Clifton Ahalt, at home; one son, James Darren Ahalt of Charles Town; one daughter, Jamie M. Hardy and husband, Joseph L. Hardy of Charles Town; three grandchildren, Justin L. Hardy and Jenna M. Hardy of Charles Town; and Allison Donivan of Martinsburg;; five sisters, Dorothy Chandler of Manassas, VA, Evelyn Fritts of Manassas, VA; Janice Frye of Inwood, WV; Joyce Wolfe of Ranson, WV and Bonnie Owens of Charles Town, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Charles Town Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Bethard officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens in Martinsburg, WV.
The family will receive friends at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, US 340 at Halltown Road, Charles Town/Harpers Ferry, WV on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
