Rosemarie Slagter, 95, of Charles Town, WV passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV.

Born July 17, 1926 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Max Klein and Minnie Dhooghe Klein.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

She is survived by one son, Howard Edward Slagter of Fairfield, Conn.; three grandchildren, Lee Ann Reifke, Dawn Farace and Benjamin Slagter and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Slagter, daughter, Sharyn Farace, sister, Dorothy Westbrook, three brothers, Edward, Howard, and Harold Klein and one great grandson.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 11:00am, at

Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Rd., Harpers Ferry, WV. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Loudoun Heights, VA

The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.
