She was miraculously healed from Nephrological Cancer in 2000 by the grace of God. She was a prayer warrior and ministered to those that she met undergoing cancer treatment at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD, and Shenandoah Oncology in Winchester, VA.
In addition to her service, Sallie cherished life's simple joys and shared them generously with those she loved. Sallie was a wonderful homemaker, cook and baker. She planted flowers and tended an herb garden. Her creative nature shone through crafting, sewing, watercoloring, and decorating for every holiday and celebration. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband Bob and family.
