Sandra Rae Shepherd, 78, of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia passed away Monday, September 19, 2022 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, West Virginia.

She was born February 29, 1944 in Hammond, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Clyde James Davis and Nell Bates Davis.

She was of Christian faith.

Sandy, was an avid hiker, gardener and loved thrifting and antiquing.  She was a generous giver, and above all, a great prayer warrior who deeply loved her family.

She is survived by three sons, Michael T. Shepherd and wife, Becky of Santa Rosa, FL., James A. Shepherd and wife, Debra of Harpers Ferry and Stephen A. Shepherd and wife, Betty of Shepherdstown; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Laws, Virginia Davis and Pasty Taylor as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and James Davis.

Services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:00 am at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
