Sean Alyn Shears, 29, of Charles Town, West Virginia passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Winchester Medical Center.

He was born March 30, 1993 in Charlottesville, Virginia and was the son of Michelle Estelle Shears and the late Alyn Wesley Mills.

He was a member of the Leetown Southern Baptist Church.

Sean graduated from Jefferson High School Class of 2011. He was a member of Charles Town Moose Lodge #948. Sean was a gentle soul and everyone loved him.

He is survived by his loving mother, Michelle Shears; maternal grandparents, Duane "Pops" and Irene Shears; paternal grandmother, Sharon Johnston; special cousins, RD Shears, Eric Stillions, Wyatt Shears, Linda and Rhonda; special aunt, Rainy Mae Armstrong, as well as numerous cousins and extended family.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by special uncles, Rodney Shears and Bill Brackett.

Services will be held at a later date.
