Shirley Jean Himes, 67, of Kearneysville, West Virginia passed away Monday, January 31, 2022.

Born March 18, 1954 in Ranson, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Millard Engle and Virginia Wood Engle.

She was of Methodist faith. Shirley adored her grandchildren and loved being with her family. She loved going to the casino and out to eat with Nancy Shirley, her close friend.

She is survived by two daughters, Leslie Himes and husband J.P. of Kearneysville and Kindra Bell and husband Shawn of Berryville, VA; two sons, Donald Himes and wife Jessica of Kearneysville and Billy Joe Kimble of Winchester; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Long, Mary Engle and Wanda Hill and son-in-law Clifford "Toppy" Ramey.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Ramey; two sisters, Pat Darr and Linda Capozio and one brother, Millard Engle,Jr.

Services will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 11:00am at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Rev. Jeffrey Berry officiating

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
