Stephanie Teresa Carey, 41, of Charles Town, WV passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023.

Born November 25, 1981 she was the daughter of Tina M. Linkens and Charles Eugene Butz, IV.

She was of the Catholic faith.

She was a graduate of Loudon Valley High School, class of 2000. Stephanie loved her work as a caregiver for special needs children.

She is survived by one daughter, Mia Carey, of PA; one son, Cameron Carey, of PA; mother, Tina Linkens and husband Larry; father, Charles Butz; two brothers, Chuck Butz and wife Michele, Matthew Butz; aunt, Barb Embart; special cousin, Missy; two step-sisters, Desiré Covaleski, Raven Linkens.
