“Talan Ray Barrow," 18, passed away on June 2, 2026, leaving behind a family and community who loved him deeply.

Born on December 17, 2007, Talan brought joy to those around him from the very beginning. He had recently completed his junior year of high school and was looking forward to all that life had in store for him. Talan was known for his infectious laugh, kind heart, and willingness to help anyone in need. Whether he was spending time with family and friends or simply making someone smile, he had a way of brightening every room he entered.

During middle school, Talan participated in track, football, basketball, and enjoyed being active and spending time with his teammates. More than any accomplishment, however, he will be remembered for the genuine way he treated others. He was always laughing, always ready to lend a helping hand, and always made those around him feel welcome. His generosity, humor, and caring spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Talan is survived by his aunt/mother, Jane; his father, Mark; his older cousin/sister, Miranda; his older brother, Tanner; and his younger sister, Toni. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, classmates, and loved ones who will cherish his memory forever.

Though his life was far too short, the love he shared and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A viewing will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV.
