Terry Matthew Danner 67, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 at the Veterans Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.

Born in Leesburg, VA, he was the son of Alma Jean Wilt Danner of Harpers Ferry, and the late John Richard Oliver Danner.

He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps.

He was a member of the Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church.

Terry was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hike, fish and hunt. He loved his church family, especially Pastor Bill.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Tara Carr and husband Wendell of Martinsburg; three grandchildren, Cierra, Devon, and Serenity; two great-grandchildren, Alaynah and Kyson; two sisters Candice DeRonda and husband, John, Lynn Wilson and husband, Bill; Numerous nieces and nephews, and best friend Larry Sirbaugh and wife, Tammy.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church, 1497 Hostler Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Bill Rowley officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 23, 2023, from 6-8 pm at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV.
