Theresa Fay Grove, 69, of Charles Town, WV passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at her residence.

Born November 8, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Shirley Kenneth Russell and Theresa Dibb Russell.

She was a member of The Roman Catholic Parish of St. James the Greater in Charles Town, WV.

Fay entirely devoted her retirement years to the care of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Grove and husband, Andrew Hunt of Kearneysville, WV, one son, Mitchell "Mr. Buck Slayer" Grove and wife, Candice of Harpers Ferry, WV, two step-sons, Kenny Grove and wife, Molly of Summit Point, WV and Dennis Grove and wife, Brenda of Harpers Ferry, WV, two grandchildren, Abby and Clayton Hunt, two step-grandchildren, Brandy Dougherty and Tiffany Craze, four step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence "Johnny" Grove and one brother, John Russell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 15, 2024 at the St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV with Father Timothy Grassi as the Celebrant, assisted by Deacon David Galvin. Interment will follow in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town, WV.

The family will receive friends at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 6-8 pm.
