Timothy Wayne Oden, 53, was called home on July 31, 2021.

Born October 10, 1967 in Harpers Ferry, he was the son of the late  Samuel M. Oden, Sr. and Mazie Shumaker Oden.

He was of the Methodist faith and was a construction worker with more than 20 years of service.

Timmy lived life to the fullest, had a heart of gold and loved all he knew, especially his family. He loved being outdoors, playing horseshoes and going fishing. He was always there to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by two sisters, Tammy Longerbeam and Sherry Parker and two brothers, Samuel Oden, Jr. and Vincent Oden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Katherine Pauley.

Services will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Rev. Fr. Stephen Stahley officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.
