Timothy Neil Penwell, Sr., 63, of Charles Town, WV passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024 at his residence.

Born December 12, 1961 in Charles Town, WV, he was the son of the late Elmer and Lorella Penwell.

Tim worked at Woodland Construction for many years and later in the concrete construction business with his brother.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his spare time he loved to ride his motorcycle.

Tim never met a stranger and had a most loving and giving heart. The joy in his heart was blessing others.

He is survived by five children, Timothy Penwell, Jr. of Charles Town, Travis Penwell of Middletown, VA, Ashley, Britney and Chelsea Thompson, all of Martinsburg, two brothers, Leon Penwell of Charles Town and Mitch Penwell and companion, Lucinda of Harpers Ferry, two sisters, Kay Singhas and husband, Bruce of Charles Town and Lisa Biggs and husband, Glen of Shepherdstown special grandchildren, Kenna, Morgan, Peyton, Ava, Suri, Cameron, Kayoni, Andrew, Aven, Gabriella and Dee Jay, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Lorraine Penwell.

Services will be held at 11:00  am on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Bruce Singhas officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
