Vincent Monroe Thompson, Jr., 75, of Harpers Ferry, WV, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, WV.

Born February 9, 1950, in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Vincent Monroe Thompson, Sr. and Marjorie Arve (Thompson). He was of the Christian Faith.

Vincent was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam. He never met a stranger and loved feeding the birds and planting his sunflowers. He retired from the Martinsburg V.A. Medical Center.

He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Tanya, at home; step-son, Joshua Jenkins; three grandchildren, Damien, Alexis, Jayden; one brother, John Thompson; special friend; Tom Arnold; and his faithful K-9 companion, Birdie.
