Obituary

Virginia "Ginny" Mae Longerbeam, 71, of Millville, WV passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at home.

Born on October 4, 1954, in Ranson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Robert Cross and Retha Rogers. She was of the Christian Faith.

Ginny graduated from Charles Town High School, with the class of 1972 and had a lengthy career in banking. Ginny loved watching sports, especially WV, and enjoyed bowling and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her husband, Gary "Pickle" Longerbeam, at home; one daughter, Kelly Carroll and husband, A.C., of Kearneysville, WV; one sone, Troy Longerbeam and wife, Amy, of Charles Town, WV; four grandchildren, Chelsea, Dylan, Morgan, Avery; four great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Kylie, Joseph, Brooklyn; one sister, Nancy Smallwood and husband, Walter; several nieces; one nephew and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-father, Ted Rogers; and one sister, Deborah Demory.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV, with Reverend Bucky Chapman officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
