Obituary

Vivian “V-Mom” Leigh Ranalli-Walters, 69, of Charles Town, WV passed away September 13, 2026 at home, under hospice care, surrounded by her family.

Born October 12, 1956 in Charles Town General Hospital, Ranson, WV, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nancy Gray Ranalli.

Vivian graduated from Jefferson High School, Class of 1974.

She was previously employed by Norm Thompson.

Vivian loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Washington Redskins and wrestling.

She is survived by her daughter, Sara Walters-Thomas and husband, Brian of Charles Town, her son, Robert Walters, Jr. and wife, Morgan of Millville, seven grandchildren, Keirsten, Desiree, (Preston), McKayla, (Christopher), Jermane (Sammy), Katelyn, Clayton and River, two great-grandchildren, Saylor and Axel, three step grandchildren, Zachzry, Travis, Brianna, two step great grandchildren, Everleigh, and Rowan and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph N. Ranalli and step grandson, Tyler Thomas.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 28, 2026 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Bucky Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 27, 2026 from 6-8 pm and two hours prior to the service on Monday.
