Walter "Butch" Edward Burke, 84, of Ranson, WV passed away November 5, 2025 at his residence.

Born April 4, 1941 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late David and Gertrude Lippman Burke.

Butch was a building and safety inspector in the construction business.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sandra, at home, two daughters, Kimberly Cimbalista and husband, Steve of  MT  and Shannon Jenkins of Ranson, three sons, Christopher Burke and wife, Susie of Front Royal, VA, Brian Burke and wife, Lisa of Berryville, VA and Stephen Burke of Harpers Ferry, seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Patrick, Joshua, Tyler, Olivia and Travis,  two great grandchildren, Peyton and  Nora, one sister, Joyce Siegel and two nieces.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Sydney Burke and one daughter-in-law, Tina Burke.
