He is survived by wife Diana; daughter Corinna, her husband Neil Stenger and daughter Wendy; grandson Christopher; Brother Ken Penrod and sister Joyce Penrod and his best pal in the world, Rudy, his German Shephard dog. His parents, Arvilla and Kenneth, and his sister June, had passed previously.

Bill grew up in Portage, PA, graduating from Portage HS in 1963, but quickly moved to Wasington, DC area where he worked for his brother, Ken in construction and soon became a Washington DC policeman as a K9 officer with his "other-best-pal, "Prince", serving more than 20 years.
