William Peter Semon, Jr.'s Obituary
William Peter Semon, Jr., 82, of Harpers Ferry, WV, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at his residence.
Born October 1, 1932 in Long Island, NY, he was the son of the late William Semon, Sr. and Jennie Palmer Semon.
Peter attended Fellowship Bible Church in Shenandoah Junction, WV.
He was a veteran of the US Army.
Peter live a full life blessed with many and diverse talents. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and "Paw Paw".
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Diana, at home; one son, William P. Semon, III of Long Island, NY; one daughter, Jennie Leigh Murphy and husband, Thomas P. of Flower Mound, TX; Pierce William Murphy and Sean Thomas Murphy of Flower Mound, TX and one sister, Jeane Palmer Semon of Palm Beach, FL.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Fellowship Bible Church, 160 Daniel Road, Shenandoah Junction, WV with Pastor Van Marsceau officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown, WV.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to FBC, 160 Daniel Road, Shenandoah Junction, WV 25442.
