Obituary

Zachary Logan Kile 10/13/2006- 9/09/2023

Zachary passed away on 9/09/2023 at his home in Shenandoah Junction.  He was the son of the late Charles Kile, Jessica Kile and stepson of David Weiss.

Zachary was a junior at Jefferson High School through Jefferson Virtual Academy. He was an avid lover of trains, weather, history and WWII. He was extremely intelligent, thoughtful, creative,  passionate about his interests, artistic and loyal. He would often share his thoughts and explanations about a variety of topics including causes of tornados and hurricanes, the mechanics of train travel, and even politics and strategies of World Wars. He was an animal advocate and lover; he loved spending time with his pets. He was a very gifted artist; his creativity knew no limit. Zach was always quick with a joke and was quite the comedian.

Beloved son, grandson, brother and friend, he is dearly missed.  In addition to Jessica and David, he is survived by two sisters, Kaitlyn Kerns (and husband Kevin Kerns) and Morgan Kile, grandparents Steve Hutzell and Jamie Ritter (and friend John Yanik).  Paternal grandparents Steve and Paulette Kile, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and stepsiblings.

A celebration of life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for a donation to be sent either to the Animal Welfare Society in Kearneysville, or the Veteran organization of your choice.
