Mary Caroline Green, 86, of Knoxville, MD passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

Born March 6, 1929 in Sandy Hook, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Franklin Nuice and Nellie Greenwalt Nuice.

She was a member of the Sandy Hook United Methodist Church.

She was the beloved mother of Sharon Glenn and husband, James, Jr. of Sharpsburg, MD and Wayne Green and wife, Pam of Mt. Airy, MD. She is also survived by four grandchildren Darla Pennick, Ryan Green and wife, Danielle, Stephanie French and husband, Joey and Megan Green and six great grandchildren, Haley, Gavin, Micah, Presley, Pearce and Brady.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Alan Smith officiating. Interment will be in Brownsville Heights Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, Frederick Western Maryland Regional Office, 108 Byte Drive, Suite 103, Frederick, MD 21702.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Pearson, Joey French, Ryan Green, Greg Crouch, Gary Greene and Mike Rosenberg.
