Donald Gene Tarmon, 60, of Shepherdstown, WV passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.
Born October 6, 1956 in Ranson, WV, he was the son of the late Gene William Tarmon and Kathleen Fraley of Shepherdstown, WV.
He was of the Christian faith.
Donald was owner and operator of Tarmon's Excavating for over 15 years. He loved his Harley and enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting.
He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Fraley and step-father, David Fraley of Shepherdstown, WV; two sisters, Janey Knotts and life companion, Tommy Reel of Sharpsburg, MD and Tammy Wright and husband, Barry of Sharpsburg, MD; three brothers, Roy Stevenson Tarmon and wife, Nancy of Sharpsburg, MD; David Carl Tarmon of Charles Town, WV and Richard Wesley Fraley and wife, Barbara of Martinsburg, WV; four other brothers, Ronnie, David, Timmy and Freddie, one other sister, Genelle and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Pastor Jerry Fletcher officiating. Interment will be in Middleway Masonic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
