Patricia MacDonald DeCou, 73, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away on Friday, December 28, 2007 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, WV.

She was born January 14, 1934 in New Orleans, LA and was the daughter of the late Don and Dorothy MacDonald.

She was of the Christian faith.

She had a love for history, the arts and theatre and was an actress in the locally filmed movie, "The Blair Witch Project". She was very devoted to her three children.

She is survived by one son, Christopher DeCou and wife, Karen of Kitty Hawk, NC; two daughters, Jennifer DeCou Rodriquez and husband, Arturos of Mexico and Amy DeCou Moore and husband, Thompson W., Jr., of Harpers Ferry, one sister, Barbara Fries of Burtonsville, MD, ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Donna MacDonald.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Bolivar United Methodist Church, Washington Street, Bolivar, WV, with Rev. Douglas Fraim officiating.
